Big Bang successfully finish the first tour of North and South America

On November 14 (local time), Big Bang held a concert at Jockey Club in Lima, Peru. It was the last concert of their tour of North and South America, part of their world tour, Big Bang’s World Tour: Alive Galaxy Tour 2012. Starting in LA, the U.S., on November 2 and 3, Big Bang held concerts in New Jersey, the U.S., on November 8 and 9 and in Lima, Peru, on November 14, attracting a total audience of 58,000.
Additional tickets for the concert in Peru were even sold out on the day the concert was held. Big Bang attracted a total audience of 10,000, which is the largest number of audience that a Korean singing group attracted.
Including people from Peru, lots of fans from Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Panama, and Colombia came to the concert.
Big Bang’s concert in Peru also had a positive effect on promoting Korea. Many fans who attended the concert showed interest in Korean culture.
Lots of South American fans welcomed Big Bang and enjoyed the concert. They waited for the group in front of the concert hall and the hotel the members were staying. Many news sources in Peru also covered the concert.
Big Bang will continue to hold concerts at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on November 23 and 24. They will also hold concerts in Hong Kong and the UK.
