Lee Joon Gi receives a birthday cake for his TV series character

Lee Joon Gi, who plays the role of a magistrate named Eun Oh on MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series Arang and the Magistrate, recently received a birthday cake.
On October 9, Lee tweeted a picture with the comment, “Thousands of fans from in and outside of the country celebrate magistrate Eun Oh’s birthday. How did you know his birthday?”
Lee’s fans remembered that his character in the series has a birthday on October 8 and sent him a birthday cake on the set.
On the series, there was a scene, in which people talk about the magistrate’s birthday to get rid of a ghost named Arang (played by Shin Min Ah).
The picture features a big birthday cake with Lee’s figure and a sign saying, “Be united for Lee Joon Gi.” This proved that the fans love Lee with all their hearts.
The series is based on the Arang legend from South Gyeongsang Province. It is a fantasy romance about magistrate Eun Oh (played by Lee), who sees ghosts, and a female ghost named Arang (played by Shin Min Ah), who lost her memory. It airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 p.m.
