Donghae and Choi are appearing in Channel A’s drama series Panda and Hedgehog as rivals.
Panda and Hedgehog is a story about young people’s growth and love. Genius patissier Seung Ji (played by Donghae) and positive girl Da Yang (played by Yoon Seung Ah) are the main characters.
In the series, both Seung Ji and Won Il (played by Choi Jin Hyuk) are in love with Panda. They’re also friends because they both are trying to take revenge on Jae Gyum (played by Hyun Suk).
In the September 9 episode, Won Il works at Cafe Panda as an assistant of Seung Ji. While working together, they get closer to each other and even fall in love with the same Japanese actress, who visits the cafe as a customer.
Da Yang complains by saying, “Your ideal types are the same and you are always together. If you love each other that much, why don’t you just go out?” At this, Seung Ji teases Won Il, saying, “I don’t think I can live without you. Will you go out with me?”
Won Il also gets upset at the fact that Jae Gyum has stolen Seung Ji’s macaroons. At this, Seung Ji says, “Because this is Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where you are, I can stand. I know you care about me, but I haven’t found a way to protect you yet.”
At the end of the episode, Seung Ji tries to kiss Da Yang, having her sit on his lap. The series airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
