Song Joong Ki recently showed off a strong look.
Song recently did a photo shoot for the October issue of the fashion magazine Bazaar. In the photo shoot, which was conducted by photographer Kim Young Jun, Song surprised everyone by showing off a strong look, getting away from a gentle look with a smiling face.
In an interview conducted during the photo shoot, Song showed affection for his new film A Werewolf Boy, which is scheduled to be released on October 31. Playing the role of a werewolf in the film, Song said, “I thought it would be easy to portray a werewolf because I didn’t have to speak at all, but it was more difficult because I had to show the character’s feelings with only facial expressions.”
Song went on saying, “However, I’ve always wanted to play the role of a vampire or a werewolf, so I really liked and enjoyed portraying the character. I learned pantomime before I started shooting this film. I learned how to express feelings without speaking.”
Song also gave his thoughts on changing his image through KBS 2TV’s drama series Nice Guy and the film A Werewolf Boy. He said, “I didn’t choose them to change my image, though.”
He said, “You don’t always have to play strong characters to prove that you’re a good actor. All you have to do is to show yourself that people want and to play roles that suit your age and image. People think A Werewolf Boy is a strong, sensational film, but it’s actually a very emotional one.”
