The singing group Koyote’s Bbaek Ga was recently selected as a model for a famous camera brand Leica for the first time as a Korean.
Along with earning the title as an Asian professional photographer for Leica, the brand of 100 years of history with German engineering, the star was also selected to work as its model. The Leica item that Bbaek Ga worked with turns out to be X2, the follow-up product to X1, and he was given some samples to work with even before launching it on the market.
The selection process was very strict and difficult; the executive of headquarters in Germany went thoroughly over the star’s work, profile, and identity as a photographer and made its final choice. In particular, the singer was also invited to Das Wesentiliche, the launching event of Leica in Berlin, Germany on May 10 and received a number of flashlights.
For three months, the company made a video clip of Bbaek Ga’s life and art perspective, and he also worked on about 60 photographs with Leica X2. Among 60 of them, 7 were selected by the company, and as for the final stage of the project, the star was in a written interview with the headquarters in English.
