TV series The Third Hospital, in which SNSD’s Sooyoung appears as a leading actress for the first time, will introduce the audience to its unique characters.
On August 13, tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday series The Third Hospital released pictures of leading actors and actresses Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Kim Min Jung, and Sooyoung.
The series is a medical drama about a neurosurgeon named Kim Doo Hyun (played by Kim Seung Woo) and a genius Oriental medical doctor named Kim Seung Hyun (played by Oh Ji Ho).
Besides the two male doctors, there are two additional leading actresses. Kim Min Jung plays the role of a doctor named Jin Hye In and she will wear a white gown for the first time in four years since her previous series New Heart. Sooyoung plays the role of a violist named Lee Eui Jin.
The two male doctors will be rivals and the two actresses will show off their lovely and fresh charms in the series.
Director Kim Young Joon says, “The characters are very unique so they are hard to portray in the series. Thanks to the actors and actresses understanding the characters well, we were able to shoot the scenes easily.
The series will start airing on September 5 at 11:00 p.m.
